    North Indian Limestone
The fine-grained variety of limestone is known as Kota stone. The blue-grey and brown-green colours of this stone are most popular. Kota stone is preferred for flooring and wall cladding, paving and facades of buildings. They are very tough, non water-absorbent, non-slip, non-porous and have excellent stain removability. Moreover, their resistance to wear and delamination is higher than other stones. They are available in different sizes and thicknesses.

Both Kota Blue & Brown are extremely versatile limestones and can be well honed, polished, sandblasted, brushed & tumbled. hence they can be supplied in a variety of finishes. The export of Kota stones has been going on since last 25 years. Many historical buildings in different countries have used this limestone for flooring & wall cladding.
