Green Onyx Marble — An Introduction
Green Onyx marble or Lady Onyx Green marble is a white-based Indian marble that mostly comes from the Salumbar region of the state of Rajasthan in India. Characterized by random twirls of green and pink colors, this marble bears green as primary color with light shades of cream and green.
Owing to its unique feature of transparency towards light, this variety is used to build surfaces where this feature can be used dramatically, such as fireplace surrounds, small islands, walls and bar tops. Finding its application in both architecture and sculpture, Onyx marble in a green hue is a preferred natural stone for exterior and interior flooring as well as cladding.
Available in a polished finish, it can be used in numerous ways for home and office decor. Regatta Universal Exports (RUE), a leading Indian manufacturer and exporter of green marble, offers green-hued onyx marble in the forms of blocks, slabs or tiles of varying dimensions.
